I noticed that I cannot see date and stuff for our picture such as taken date or size from media picture??

I would use the File Manager. Find the photo, press and hold, click Properties in the side menu. This is,where the BB10 devices are more like a computer, rather than an app player, and I really love it.

Its like Bungalow Bill said: you just can't access the properties through the pictures application, but you can access them through the file manager.

Hello folks.
I had the same problem and noticed this was fixed in the latest OS leak 10.2.0.1047.
I found it amongst the regular options such as 'Rotate', 'Edit', 'Share','Delete'.
The new properties menu contains the following info:
Filename (can be edited)-Filetype-Dimensions-Date created-Last modified-Date taken
I tried that on my Q10, I guess this is the same with the Z10
