I was expecting to have some sort of "On the fly" solution in the email client to resize pictures before sending them as attachments in the email. Is there any option for that? I'm probably missing?

This has been a common complaint. I believe you have to, as an example:

    1. take the photo
    2. save the photo
    3. edit the photo
    4. then send it

Albeit, I'm sure there are third party apps that can help.

Thanks for your reply, I've realized I had to do something like that. But unfortunately even in edit mode you can't do anything more than simply crop pictures, which is not the same as resizing.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't BBbold had that future? - resize in email application?

Not sure if the Bold had it, but the 9810 did. I miss that feature.

Tell me about it... What choices we have right now? We can't even go to camera settings and set it to smaller format. There is no resize future under image "Edit" application.
So all is left to do is send 1.5MB size attachments along with html-only formated email.
    - no text formated emails.
    - megabyte size attachments.
Nice business grade email client we have here.

Can we conclude that there are no options in setting/email/camera/pictures to shrink/re-size the 1.5mb files to smaller sizes? I know I can do it on Bold9900 why not on Q10? Help!

    Thanks

Yep. HTML only email with huge attachments - something I never thought I'd see on BB.

I'm just discovering this with my Q10 which lead me to this thread. Sucks big time. I could take a 100 kb pic with my bold 9780 or 9900 and e-mail it or post it quickly. Not with the Q10.

    SMS the picture to yourself...

Its another bb10 bug/problem that can help you in this instance!

BB10 SMS auto resizes the picture to a ridiculously small scale. There is no opting out of the resize. It takes a 1.5mb photo and turns it into a 30kb pile of pixels.

Perfect if you want to show how a great photo can look like crap on the receivers end
