    Hi Everyone,

I installed Skype and now my contacts list on the Z10 shows my skype contacts too.
How do I remove them from there? It's very annoying.

Just delete them from within contacts. They will still be there in Skype when you open it

You can also deactivate that feature from the Skype settings by swiping down to show the Android Player menu, clicking the menu button, settings and then set syncronize contacts to don't syncronize.

SKYPE isn't listed in the accounts, and so can't turn it off. Also, my skype settings are set to do not sync, but somehow all contacts has been synced, and mutiple times at that. Anyways, it looks like manually deleting them one by one seems to be the only option left!

No, it does not integrate well with BB10.2 or with the Contacts app. The settings mentioned above is in the Skype itself.

Yeah, and the problem is that Skype repopulates when you open it to turn that option off. It should be off by default

I just went into the Contact app, Settings, and turned off everything in Show Account in Contact List. Since Skype isn't in there, everything left was a Skype contact. Then you can select multiple contacts and delete them all at once.

Make sure to look for any contacts that are linked, though. I apply images to almost all of my contacts, so that made it easy for me to identify the ones that were linked from Skype to my other contacts.

You contradict yourself: [you've found] many [better cross-platform clients with video calls], but they are desktop (Windows, Linux, Mac) versions.

    Cross-platform =/= desktop.

Yes, because until BBM Video goes cross platform I'll be still using video calling from PC. Skype delivers terrible Audio and Video calls at average speeds. The app lags, freezes, messes up the contacts

The best solution is to delete the BlackBerry World version and install the Android version via Snap.
It will solve all your problems like the contact bug and the problem of Skype not closing in the background no matter what.
