I was going through my emails today and wanted to print out a coupon but I found no option to print my email, which is quite ******** because I thought this was a basic feature that was common on most smartphones these days. WTF BlackBerry add this feature ASAP!!! I thought the Z10 was made with business people in mind. PRINTING IS A COMMON THING IN THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT!

I've never seen this feature built-in into any current incarnation of phone...Android, I phone, Noria, etc.

And it's not a limitation of phones alone...the printer hardware would have to support this. What? A blue tooth printer?

    Apple.
My kids can print wirelessly, directly to our Canon MG3220 from iPad and iPhones.
I would like to be able to do the same from my Z10. Instead I have to buy an app that let's me send to the PC which is connected to a printer. The catch is, I don't have a printer connected to a PC at home...its all wireless.
I suspect Android can send to a wireless printer as well.

If the IPhone or Android were printing they were using an app or cloud service added on.

For I phone you would need an airprint supported printer

In the case of my kids iPhones and iPad mini, they use Air print which I believe is either native or at the very least provided by Apple for free.

Yup, iPhone does it. At least iOS 6 does. Not sure about earlier versions. I printed no problem with iPhone 5 to my wireless HP printer. No such feature on Z10 (yet anyway). Maybe the next update?! For now, I can use the remote printing feature offered from HP. I just forward whatever I want to print to an HP email address and voila, it prints a minute later. It's a decent work-a-round for the time being.

Airprint is specific to Apple...and requires Airprint enabled apps and Airprint supported printer hardware.

True. It is a nice feature though and something similar should have been developed for BlackBerry 10. The same wireless printer that is Air print compatible is also compatible with printing wirelessly from any PC on the same wireless network.
Hopefully BlackBerry is working on it for 10.1

Agreed I prefer this actually as I can print this way from any device and not having to set anything up

I believe Airprint was launched since iOS 5 or 4 onwards. Apple first launched it by working with HP to launch a series of airprint support printers. That aside, having the capability to print from the phone itself would be marvellous, since BlackBerry 10 is touted to be a mobile computing OS.

Give BBRY some time. I think printing feature would be implemented along the way.

I found it works well, and the developer is very helpful if you have any questions.

So it will depend on apps that do this on each phone platform...likely will have to wait for BlackBerry apps for z10 if demand is there.

Or possibly try side loading Android app that does it? I'm guessing other options already available for a small subset of users that do this, would be relied on. Ex. Printers that have email address and IP printing.

guys, I had an iPhone, and it wasn't a third-party app. You could just open a PDF or any other readable file on your iphone and in the options it would allow you to print to a wireless printer if you were connected to the same wifi network (just like how it works when your laptop is connected to a wireless network and prints to a printer on the same network). There was no need for the printer to be connected to a PC, MAC or any other device.

It's simply a matter of Blackberry implementing the drivers for this I would assume, no BT or NFC or anything else is used.
