I wish there was a Z10 in 2011, but the official announcement was Jan 2013. Sales started the following Feb, first in Europe and Asia.

There was the early Developer Alphas that were first issued in May of 2012.

    I got my Z10 in August 2013,

Still using mine. Bought it in 2011 but use it as a backup phone. My primary phone is my Priv.

Nice try, but the Z10 wasn't even a thing in 2011.

After I destroyed my Keyone - I went back to my Z10. I probably would have gone back to me Passport but it had issues.
Alas, I still prefer a physical keyboard. I am deciding between the Q10 (which I had used for years) or the Q20. I loved the screen on the Passport but the keyboard layout was not my favorite.

When you try the KEY2 you will fall in love with keyboard ...nothing to do with KEYONE... an improvement at all levels!

I just ordered a new/old stock Q10. My Z10 looks more modern but I so prefer the physical keys.

Where did you get the new old stock? I wouldn't mind picking up another SQN100-5 for backup device

I just picked a used one up on Amazon for 50 bucks. My first bb phone. I have to say I really like it compared to my old playbook. Super friendly to me. I'm just trying to figure out a few things like getting my paid for neutron player on it and my payment method. Can't sign into PayPal either. But it's still a pretty sweet device to me.

On Ebay - new other. My was in a sealed box and no question new old stock. I didn't want to deal with someone else's BBM lock.

I still love the Z10 most of all my phones. The form factor is neat and the display crisp. Although I managed to get about 6-12 hrs of battery life out of the phone (very dependent on what I'm doing), I really do worry a lot if it gets me through the day.
Right now I'm using the Passport, since it's speedier, lasts longer, has extra battery life and a better camera. But imho the rest of the hardware is no real upgrade. If I could have at least a better battery for my Z10 I'd instantly do the leap backwards.

Leap backwards sounds like an unintentional pun. Z10 was my favourite phone ever. 4 years of reliable service and soo portable. I really should try to revive it with an autoloader. I now have a Keyone as my main phone, but also carry a Q10 as a personal phone.

As primary device, I used the Z10 for 9 months, the Z30 for 20 months, and the Passport SE for 3 months.

Hard to decide which was my favourite at the time, but I'm leaning to the Z30.

When i feel like clutching a pure one handed device, i get my white z10 out! Then it's processor and weak battery reminds me that it's 2018 and i store it back after about 2 days.

Clearly the Z10 was my favorite device! But I think a big part of it was the switch from Android to OS 10, that felt so right. Nevertheless the portability is what I miss most! It has been just so convenient to write one-handed while having no second hand to spare...

I use my Z10 mobile phone on daily base and mostly for communication (instant-reply-voice-chat IRVC, SMS, Email, no WhatsApp), online railway schedules, sometimes News-reading, offline maps, music streaming & listening with my Bose Soundlink. I like the handy 4" size. The leather cover kept the screen since years secure. I still use the docking station. And I am still convinced about the Blackberry 10 data security. I got it in 2014 and use it since then. As long as the web browser works I am not going to change. Just got very recently a spare akku and BlackBerry powerbank housing.

I am also convinced about 10 data security . As my BB is a work phone I rated this requirement highly although I am using a Dtek 50

Just switched back after owning various flagship phones. This is just as fast and wayyyyyyyy easier to type on. I forgot how easy one handed typing is on this beast. So disappointed BB10 didn't take off. I'm going to stick it out until the end. May pick up a used passport as well.

For me the Z10 is the perfect size phone. Fits the back pocket or shirt just right.

The ease of use an productive apps from get go is just fab. My batt last mostly about 9-12hrs and i got 2, switch everything to lower settings so it gets me through the day.

Apart from needing a better media player like Neutron... I good with old faithful.
