While the Leap may not be an upgrade to the Z10 it is certainly more of a sidegrade than anything. I mean, if you do not use NFC or Compass and consider FM radio and Miracast to be bonuses, then there really would not be much of a difference outside of the larger form factor.
Agree with you. There also many other differences. For example BlackBerry Leap doesn't use GLONAS.

Just got the Z30, meaning my Z10 gets a second life replacing her Android phone. Actually I like the screen better on the Z10.

I had the Priv, after 14 days I took it back and ordered another Z10. The Priv is nothing compared to the BlackBerry Z10.

Definitely not loving the battery life on this though I've tried all sorts of things changed to 2g turned brightness down etc just eats battery so fast I'm almost dead in 5 hours or less even. Such a nice phone but can't wait to pick up the classic just can't handle the bad battery. I guess I was spoilt coming from the Passport

Any I've got an issue with the speaker phone or mic I should say. Think after I repaired the screen I've either got something loose as if someone calls me they can't hear me. If I pull the battery door open down the bottom slightly the mic starts working again. Close door they can't so the door pushing on something to cause it to do that. Not sure what I've done ahhh

I've been using my Z10 since 2013 too and will use until it fulfills my needs; which it's doing pretty nicely till yet. The only device that fascinates me is Passport SE, other than that I don't hesitate in saying Z10 is still an awesome little fellow to have, and so the love story continues....!

I'm using Z10 STL100-1 in India since it launched about 3 years. I am a heavy user with configured total 9 email account of my 3 company. Also using whats app, twitter, facebook etc... 3G full day. I have battery back up 7 hours max...i maybe change my Z10 with Passport if BlackBerry continue to support and get OS10 updates...

My wife and I were both using (and still loving) our Z10s until recently, when she had a stretch of bad luck. She left her phone sitting on top of the car, losing it on her way home from work. She then took mine with her to work since I am home all day, dropping it in the toilet. The jury is still out on whether mine can be saved, but she just replaced her lost one with a Priv.

I bought outright a Z10 for my wife a year and half ago. She used to use a Torch, and loved it. Then when time to renew, she took over my 9900. Didn't last long as the battery was dying. When picked up a Z10 on the cheap from Telus. She likes it. Even after a year and a half though, she misses the pkb. I was hoping to buy her a classic this xmas, but $399 is still high for our budget.

I love my Z10, haven't had one complaint.
I've updated as new OS versions arrive and actually changed the physical body (everything except the internal motherboard) as I purchased a complete bezel etc on eBay for cheap and it's like a brand new Z.

I can't decide if I'd replace or upgrade to a new or different BlackBerry as I really do enjoy my Z10.

Me still use St 100-1 faster and more stable and easier to operate than other OS.

Still using my almost 3 years old Z10 and I don't regret, it flows after all that time! The battery life could be better but can't complain because I'm not a heavy game player so the battery lasts from 8 in the morning until 10.30 at night.

Embarrassed to say I use it because my Z30 doesn't have LTE coverage with AT&T. I have two lines. It sucks compared to my Leap also.

4-5 hour battery life on a Z10? What do you do? Run GPS navigation non stop the entire 4-5 hours? Check your apps, turn off location services indoors and buy yourself a new battery. No reason with moderate use a z10 can't still last 8-12 hours on a charge with a good battery.

I still use it as my daily driver. I love the brightness and the size. The battery life is not an issue for me currently as I can plug it in whenever I need to. If I had to be away from power a lot I would switch to the Passport.

I have been using my Z10 for about two years now and it is by choice. I've had no problems with the hardware or OS once I got used to the change to BB10. The size is good; I do not want anything larger. This is an excellent productivity and entertainment communication device. My battery life is not 4 - 5 hours. I have never timed it but I think it is good for 12 hours with moderate usage. I do have an extra battery and the charger for it for when I expect to be away from an outlet for a long time like during the summer at music festivals and such. I also have one of those portable battery banks to charge it if needed. I love this phone.

Currently using it as a 'B' phone whilst Z30 is being nursed back to health. Haven't disliked the experience or switching back but am looking forward to having the 30 back.

I am tempted to use the 10 as a kind of music server in the house. May grab a dock so it can become an Internet radio/streamer until such a day that she is needed as my 30's deputy.

Pretty old phone now I've gone from q10 to z10 to z30 to Passport to Classic to Passport to q10 and now somehow back on q10 just for few months. I've gone full circle lol.

The Z10 screen is super nice low PPI bit the brightness is on point.

How many of you use z10 these days how do you manage the 4 - 5 hour battery life? The phone is awesome I think size and all. Just the battery life as everyone already knows. I reckon I'd be happy with the Leap I may just try one soon being from Australia cannot really walk into any shop and try one out

I can't recommend the Leap highly enough, so long as you can tolerate a 5" all-touch device.
