I'm very disappointed with this device, trying to sell it ASAP... I mainly disappointed because BBM will be available cross-platform. That was one of the main reasons I even bought the Z10 in the first place!

Not me! I love my Z10 and though BBM was one of the reasons I wanted to stay with BlackBerry, it wasn't the only reason I bought my phone.

Good luck to you on whatever phone you decide to get.

Can you explain exactly why you are disappointed with BBM going cross-platform? Why does it matter do you have any legit reason? Why does it affect your usage of the phone?

That doesn't sound like a sufficient reason to regret the purchase of the Z10, maybe if something was malfunctioning with your device sure I would believe you, but na man not this :\

As for me I'm not regretting my purchase at all. It's a sick device |m/

No regret here. With BBM going cross platform, I can finally get rid of GroupMe and tell people to stop trying to force me into using Whatsapp.

The Z10 isn't for BBM; it's built to experience BlackBerry 10.

Sorry I don't believe you nor do I think your intentions for posting this comment are sincere. This is for 2reasons...1. why would you be upset about being able to use the app that is the "main reason you bought" with pretty much everyone of your friends now rather than just a select few? And 2. You didn't care about the unified hub, OS flow & multitask, browser, screen resolution? Kinda like buying a car because of the stereo only.

Well, I will say wait if you are not in a rush I have Z 10 and I have to say I have been very loyal to BlackBerry even throughout years of people abandoning BlackBerry. Yet, I cannot seem to be able to get any of the important apps I need or liked from older blackberry device. They just announced sound hound which is suppose to be like Shazam and they clearly stated it was made for Os 10 Z10 and Q10 when I went on to hub to down load because I really missed Shazam it say Sound hound is not available for Z10. :/Even though they claim it is available and made for Os 10 devices. I have been faithful but now really beginning to wonder if I made the right choice this time around. To many false promises. Skype still not available for Z10. Still no app to be able to transfer contacts and data wireless like buddy guard app which once again cannot get on Z10. Which I will add was the reason I lost many of my old contacts and information. Frustrated

Not one single bit, I absolutely LOVE my Zed10, best mobile UI I have ever used. It is a real pleasure to use the device. Lots more to come from BlackBerry too. It just keeps getting better Oh and BBM going cross platform will be a real winner. BBM is hands down the best IM system on the planet....we all know that. So I say share the love and let BBM rule!

Yea I am very disappointed and angry at the fact that BlackBerry made such a phenomenal device I simply can't get off my hands. It is too addicting. What the hell was BlackBerry thinking? So freaking disappointed! Ugh.

Seems almost like he's trolling. The op said that they are very diappointed in the device but the majority of his dissapointment is bbm going cross platform that they really dont have an issue with the Z10 but more Blackberry management and is blaming the Z10 for that.

I love my z10 and have no regrets at all. It fulfills all my needs, browser is awsome display is amazing and there are plenty of apps to keep me happy. The OS keeps getting better with updates. BBM going cross platform can only be a positive thing, I currently only have one person on Bbm, which is my wife, now I can potentially have many more friends and maybe even dump my texting plan which will mean lower monthly bill. I know here is whatsapp which I have installed but I dont even know anybody that uses it and I cant convince anyone to want to use it
