Does anyone happen to know the planned end date for the Amazon $99-$139 deal?

My contract renewal date is May 8. The local Verizon store said I could upgrade as of May 1, but not sure if that's just via Verizon or if Amazon would be allowed to honor that. I would hate to wait until May 8 and then find out Amazon's price is back to $199.

I am also guessing Verizon won't do a price match

O2 had a similar situation here in the UK, my contract was due two weeks away and their free Z8 offer ended a week away ...... so when I called two weeks later the phone was �99 .....

I complained to the sales rep a I had tried upgrading earlier and offered to pay two weeks rental off from the old contract but they hadn't let me.

Next thing rep makes a call and gets the thumbs up to honour the original free phone deal ... happy dance

Although the $99 offer is for new customers, those upgrading their contract get the $139 price.
I'm wondering how long this sale is for also.

You are correct, but renewals get $139 which is still better than Verizon's $199.

Given that I bought my Z10 on the first day of Verizon's availability and used up my contract extension for that deal, and given that I may decide to switch to a Q10 when they become available for Verizon, I'd personally like to find a good deal for a NON-contract-priced Q10...

Is Amazon known for that kind of thing too?
