I don't get that. If I do ANY gaming battery is as good as dead. This morning I woke up and just read the news for 10-15 minutes in bed. I got out of bed and as I got in the shower I checked the battery...already down to 85%. I plugged it in while I showered and for ready. Came into work, browsed the Internet on the train, a few emails and texts. Now it is 9:30 AM and I am at 64%. For the record, my brightness is at 25%.

5-8 hours depending on use, this is with .1925 LTE/4G on with wifi whenever possible & 40% screen brightness

My z10 will last 3 to 4 hours. Honest answer. Have done every trick to increase battery life. Have 3 spare batteries in case I need to be away from the car or house electric for more than 5 minutes.

I'm running 1925/1926 and have run every official and every leak. The z10 just sucks when it comes to battery life. If I turn the phone off it might make it through the night without being plugged in. Maybe. On a good day.

Anyone saying they can just use the phone the way they want and get over 4 hours without running through hoops is delusional. I'm not talking about running gps or any other high drain apps. This phone is a battery killer and my wife's z10 is exactly the same. We each carry a z10 and 3 spare batteries. And a hand crank charger and a solar charger. Using all this we might make it 12 hours.

Nfc OFF
Location OFF

2 emails at 2 hour refresh frequency
10 calls about 2-5 minutes each

Facebook messaging Whatsapp and bbm

My previous days weren't as good.

Same setting but with gestures ON.

I think turning gesture OFF impacts battery life a lot.

Will report after test.

I love BlackBerry. Just because I am being real about the battery doesn't mean I don't like it. My phone doesn't run hot or anything. But I can literally see the battery percentage go down. I would guess 1% every 2 minutes. Maybe. But I'm the same way with my mac book pro. It doesn't last for more than 3 hours.

I guess I'm a battery killer. I'm a BlackBerry abuser. And I love it.

All day every day! It's rare I even hit 50% after 16 hours or so.

WiFi/LTE, no BT or NFC. 2 exchange accounts with push, FB and twitter with push too.
