Just wanted to see how hot everyone's Z10 runs. Mine is running around 90-93 degrees Fahrenheit with battery guru browser and cb10 app running. Not sure if anyone knows what the normal running temp should be. I know when I'm playing games it gets hotter. Anyone have an incite into this? Also the back of the device gets warm right around the sd card. Anyone know If this is normal. I'm on vzw running 10.0.9.

Mine varies from 82 (28) to 107 (42). I find games make it hot... Signal alien game and Where's my Water make it very hot.

Haven't noticed sd area being hotter...just seems the whole back side, guessing battery and processors?

    On Rogers in Canada 10.0.9.blahblahblah

I used to play Oregon Trail, but made the battery extremely hot plus it drained the battery like crazy so deleted it. The only game I play is Angry Birds. Battery doesn't get too hot. Hot but not scary hot.

I was noticing this as well, but deleted a few apps and it seemed to mostly go away (except if playing a game for a long time). My battery life also improved and my data usage went down. Unfortunately I didn't do this deletion systematically so am not really sure which apps made the difference. Music streaming apps, perhaps.

I've noticed it get really hot but that was just once or twice. I'm thinking it might be a specific app that gets it hot.

31-40 celsuis which is normal to a Samsung S3 and iphone 4.

It will rise if you use it for gaming and such.

Anyone else notice the phone getting hot right below the sd card? My battery doesn't get hot just in that one spot really. Maybe that's where the processor is located.

I thought the Z10 was really hot, which is why I bought it. Seriously though, I don't have a means to get exact temperature but it hasn't been any worse than my 9810. I'm not a gamer so I don't use a lot of graphics intensive apps.

T-Mo, USA. Have not noticed phone getting hot. However, I was getting random restarts after attaching a tight fitting "rubber" case, which stopped after I removed. Can only imagine it may have been getting warm?

Not very warm at all. Only had it heat up once because I left it in my inside jacket pocket and it came out pretty warm an hour later. I had to let it cool off and restart because it was behaving badly.

I'm almost thinking maybe my heat issue has something to do with my sd card. It's a brand new SanDisk 64gb class 10. My battery never really gets all that hot. But right around my sd card slot it gets pretty hot whenever I use the device. I'm not even transferring anything to the card. Anyone have any ideas. I did try taking the card out and it still was getting worm. So maybe it has nothing to do with it.

Just like the PlayBook, the Z10 will get hot when using it heavily. Things like games, GPS apps, etc can cause considerable load on the processor as well as using a lot of battery power, which both create heat. I just loaded a game called Beach Buggy Blitz and you can feel the heat rise and see the battery drop while it is open. Hopefully, also like the PlayBook, they will continue to improve battery usage with OS updates.

How tight did it fit around the volume buttons? If you hold both volume buttons down, it will eventually force the Z10 to reboot, like the Power + volume buttons on the PlayBook. I've read a few threads here that thought their cases may have been pushing on the volume buttons.

I have had mine while on charger jump to about 108 then battery percentage drop to 85 percent then phone reboots. Just happened again with only BeBuzz PRO and? Battery Guru running Zed wasn't in use otherwise

My battery just started rising from 88 degrees F to 113 degrees F now with only battery guru running. Hope this is not hurting the Z10. I'm on verizon.

Mine gets pretty hot as well. It seems like my Z10 gets almost as hot as when I had my Nexus 4, the only difference being the Nexus 4 would get hot pretty much instantly even just browsing the web, where as the Z10 it takes longer to and doesn't get as hot when just browsing the web.

THe nexus 4 was brutal for being hot it was crazy playing a game on it was bad enough, the Z10 gets hot but no where close to the feeling my Nexus 4 did.

Well it's gotten pretty darn hot one or two times. Make me strip the case and do battery pulls.
