    If you are trying to "fix" Maps since the last update, you have to do this:

    Go to http://maps.blackberry.com. (on your computer). Click Download and enter your BlackBerry ID and password when prompted. A link will be sent to your phone. Use your device to reinstall via App World. I just did it and it worked.

    The "fix" actually installs an older version. The original update was 805 and the fix is 790. Looks like 805 has been pulled altogether, at least on VZ.

    Maps update on my phone resulted in it crashing upon launch every time. Tried it again tonight and it worked fine!

    Only thing new was I had downloaded the latest version of BB Link and then did a full backup.

    Weird...
