The best way to solve the blackberry z10 battery problem :
    1. Drain your battery (till your phone turns off)
    2. Get a desktop battery charger
    3. Plug the battery in.
    4. Do not plug in electricity(will just put on a single light (red, blue or so..)
    5. Leave for about 20 minutes
    6. Remove the battery, put into your phone.
    7. It will have been recalibrated to 0%

Funny, we are always told NOT to let lithium batteries discharge completely.

What do you have to say about that, OP? Honest question.

Not completely, for just 20 minutes

I never said the battery should be drained, just discharge for 20mins, and return to your phone, then I must have been calibrated to 0%.... it is tested and actually works

Sorry, true, you said till phone turns off. That's anything starting at 9% and it COULD be 0%. Some of us don't really see our phones turn off at 9%. Mine hasn't for a long long while. It goes till there is no battery power left so pardon me when I associate turn off with 0%.

Now... Tested where? Link to source if you don't mind?

I just want to make sure this won't damage anyone's battery (and I am not saying this is actually your goal. I'm sure you posted this with good intentions and I am just being a *****).

OP: you should have a read here.

Steve at allaboutsymbian.com knows what he is talking about.

To summarize, to keep your battery life longer, you want to charge your battery whenever you can.

And completely draining it is a really bad idea.
