Ever wanted to copy a number and you want to paste it in the dialling pad? All phones, including old BlackBerrys have this feature. How do u enable that on the Z10???

    1) Hold on the number and select Copy from the side menu.

    2) Wait for the next OS update and hope it allows pasting into the dialer.

Until then, you can save the number into an address book entry, or even into a Remember note and then select the call option when you long press on the number.

This to me was the most horrible omission from blackberry. All I wanted to do is copy, paste, make a call. It was like I have an iphone in my hand lol. Kidding.

Also hope that dialing a number from browser or where ever will also be included in 10.1. They need to release this as soon as Q10 is released.

I wrote a little app to do this. Clipboard Dialer scans your clipboard for phone numbers and allows you to call or text them, add to contacts etc. Also works by selecting a paragraph or two in your browser or e-mail, tapping the selected text and sharing it with Clipboard Dialer.

I think the better question is why doesn't Z10 support hyperlinked Phone Numbers?

It does support hyper-linked numbers but as described, you can't paste numbers into the dialer. One work around is to copy number into browser, and then prefix with tel: Once you hit enter, it will ask if you wish to dial. Not ideal, but better than nothing!

It does. BlackBerry just forgot to add the auto formatting function to the browser. Therefore, if the dev didn't code it correctly, the browser won't notice it.

With all these little things missing. The next update better be a huge one. If BlackBerry is listening. Which im sure they are. Wait...i hope they are.

Make sure you click and hold on the link above and then open in your external browser, not from within CB.

I have a quick question here Z10 users. When you dail a number or get a call does the screen lock itself or do you have a chance to use the dail pad for conf id# or to answer gvoice calls

The op said nothing about in the browser.
My workaround for copying a number from the browser is to paste it into remember and it then becomes a hyperlinked number. I tap it and it dials
