How to do Paragraph Breaks in Text Messages

I raised this a while back, as hitting the return key simply sends the SMS instead of creating a paragraph break.

Turns out it's the same as Facebook (tried it on a hunch after using FB this morning)

? Hit the Shift key
? Hit Return
? You now have a paragraph break

Hope that helps everyone else that was stuck with this :)

Thanks for this tip! Definitely comes in handy especially since I didn't realize it was the same on the Z10 as other devices.

thanks! I tried this way back when and it didn't work. but it works now. :) must have been the latest MR update.

now if only they could make the send key change to an enter key when shift is pressed and then have it change back to send.

If that doesn't work on your device you can use word substitution. I've had mine set up that qq is a paragraph break.

Clever idea, didn't know that you could do that....now I need to see what else I can substitute...
