That LTE operating bands is not an option. It is an information, in stl100-2 it is supplied with data, in my case (3,7,8,20). Stl100-4 is a cdma device, it does not have a sim slot. So if your carrier can support cdma devices with a lte connection, then it can.

Actually, the first part is completely incorrect, and the second may or may not be too. The STL100-4 definitely has a SIM slot because:

    1) The carrier it was designed for--Verizon--uses SIM cards for LTE in most of its phones
    2) This phone also has a couple of UMTS bands.

As far as LTE on the -4 goes, your carrier does not need to be CDMA for LTE to work-- the carrier just needs to have an LTE band 13 (700 MHz) network.

Unfortunately for the OP, no Indian carrier has a band 13 4G network.

The STL100-1 does not have any LTE capability, period.

A software upgrade will not give you an extra band.

There's no such thing as a "Z10 4g model". The term "4G" is a bit nebulous anyway since the two big GSM carriers in the U.S. insisted on calling 3G UMTS "4G" for marketing purposes back before they had "real 4G" with LTE.

    There are 4 Z10 models:

    STL100-1
    STL100-2
    STL100-3
    STL100-4

Only the -2, -3, and -4 models actually have an LTE radio in them. Different bands for different areas of the world at the time they were made back in late 2012, early 2013. The -1 was made for areas of the world that didn't have LTE yet. Yes, it was a bit shortsighted of BlackBerry to do that because it was only a matter of time before LTE would eventually get there - like today. But, that still doesn't change the fact that the STL100-1 built for 2013 still does not have an LTE radio in it at all. None... zip... nada... no dice... give it up.

have z10 stl3 befor upgarde to 10.3.2.2474 no informaton ... then after upgrade show lte band 2,4,5,17
Depends on what you upgraded from. When that line first showed up in the OS, way back in some early 10.3.0 builds, it properly showed all the bands if the the phone had them. Then, at some point, it was broken and displayed "No information available" for everyone through quite a few OS release. Then, somewhere among the late 10.3.1 builds, it got fixed, and the listings came back.

Except that for phones that simply don't have an LTE radio in them at all - like the STL100-1. All it tells you - all all it will ever tell you on a -1 - is "No information available". Because, guess what, there is no information available for the OS to display the bands because they don't exist on the phone. It can't magically conjure itself into existence as a piece of hardware inside the phone.
