    Don't own a Mac but this seems to be common issue...several threads with reported solutions.

    If you have Wi-Fi access to the network your Mac is on, just turn on Wi-Fi file sharing on the BlackBerry and you should be able to access all the files on your BlackBerry.

    Went to my hard drive opened it up went to the library folder then to extentions inside there was two blackberry kext files I deleted them both restarted my mac pro (3.1) and plugged my z30 in and opened blackberry link and viola! Worked just like it did before the upgrade to "El captain " thanks for the help, this had been bothering me for quite some time!
