[CrackBerry Question]

My z10 randomly restarts on its own and easily takes fifteen minutes to restart.software updates have not helped.my device is about a three months from date of purchase brand new.i would like to know how to reinstall the os not updating

Setting -security-security wipe

Security Wipe.
Warning though: it'd take long to finish.
Do a data backup if you could and would.

Settings --> Security and Privacy --> Security Wipe

You can't return to an older OS version.
Security wipe deletes all data and brings up the phone to factory settings but with latest to the phone installed OS.
If you want all done with a specific OS version, search the Autoloader of your device in the whished OS version.

Search the forums for the keywords you need.

Do the random restart happen without any shock?
Have you considered that it could be a loose battery?? It happened to me once!

I had a similar problem with my Z10. Turned out to be a bad battery. Got a new battery and the problem went away.

Security wipe doesn't reload the OS. It won't solve most problems.
