I have a radio app on my phone and was wondering how do I play it on the car stereo???
I tried it via the usb function but that only plays the songs on the memory card!!

It works fine on my home theater but not in the car stereo!!!
Any suggestions?

Simplest way is to use the 3.5mm connector - that's the way I do it on my Chevy Equinox. If your car supports bluetooth A2DP you might be able to do it that way as well after pairing it with the Z10.

Finally if none of those work there is a way to stream to your car's radio like Belkin's iTrip.

This is how I do it at least:

-pair bluetooth
-after pairing, try to go to the media area of your car's bluetooth
-it will see that it is not an iPhone, so will just stream the audio from the device you have paired instead of giving you an iPhone interface
-open your radio app on your phone and proceed to the station
-any audio from your phone should stream to your car's console

My stereo doesn't have a bluetooth ---- else it would not have been a problem

Well if does not have bluetooth then maybe it would be possible through aux in if u have the right cables that connect to the earphone socket of the z10, if not pick up a bluetooth car transmitter, there are quite a few which would connect to ur stereo through fm. And to boot they are pretty cheap too.thats the way I use my z10 in my car and it streams like a dream. U could try blackberry music gateway.

If your car does not have Bluetooth capability like mine I suggest the following. Get BlackBerry VM605 Bluetooth Speakerphone. You press the button, it pairs with Z10, then you press FM button and it tells you what FM station to tune your car radio to and off you go. It plays whatever music plays on Z10, including apps like Slacker, Tunein, Nobex etc.
I bought the refurbished unit for $24.95 and it works like a charm. I have a handsfree phone and a music player in one unit - cheap thrills.
