I'm getting a Z10 tomorrow and would like instructions on how to load 10.3.1 on it, I've searched online but nowhere gives clear instructions on how to do so and I'm not patient enough to wait till February or march for T-Mobile to release an official update, help is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

Take a look at BB10 Leaked/Beta OS section of this forum. All the files and information you need is there in sticky threads. Read carefully and if you have any questions we are here to help. The easiest way is using Autoloader, you have nothing to backup or lose on this new phone.

How does autoloader work? Can I do it straight from the phone or will I need a computer? Also can you post a link to that forum? I won't have to back anything up since its a new phone. Thanks so much!

If One loads a leaked OS, will they still receive automatic notifications of any new updates of the OS on their phone?
When their carrier eventually gets their own 10.3 version, will they be notified and will it install automatically or will they be forever locked to the route of autoloaders?

If it's newer, you will get the notification and be able to update no problem.

Why don't you just wait til January 27th when BlackBerry pushes it out to everyone.

If it's brand new, he might as well start fresh with the new autoloader. Best time to do it in fact. 10.3.1.2072 is probably the official anyway - but if it's not, it will be a very small incremental update.

BlackBerry service centre loaded an unofficial OS to your friend's phone? Highly unlikely.
