In the live tiles I keep seeing such and such updated picture. How do I cleat those updates?

I had this as well. I'm afraid I didn't manage to solve it before I returned my Z10.

For now, the updates are there to stay. The workaround is to close the BBM app. BBM messages (and updates) will continue to arrive to your device by push. You can check your ongoing conversations or updates in BlackBerry Hub or reopen BBM to do the same and any other BBM functions.

tap the BBM icon (not in the hub, but the icon itself that's in your tile list). then tap lower left button (looks like 3 horizontal lines). then tap Updates (at the bottom of the list).then find your annoying buddies that update all the time and tap and hold one of their updates. Then you will see a black bar appear on the right hand side of the screen. Tap the bottom icon (a pic of a person with a crossed out circle). this will hide their updates...... good luck.
