    Hi, just jumped ship from the S3 and joined this forum to see if anyone could help me with my querry. How do I transfer sms messages from my S3 to the z10.

    I came from android as well an what I had always done was use a SMS backup utility that put all messages in the cloud so I didn't really worry about transferring them over. I don't really know a way that you could transfer them over
    Hopefully someone else chimes in with an idea.

    That's interesting. My Nexus 4 auto deleted messages after 500. I found that even set at 1000, the app would start lagging noticeably, so I've never been one to keep my text messages archived. I would think that the Z10 is doing something similar...maybe deleting after 500 messages in the conversation or something?

    I have thought of one way, what if one was to use the sms restore/backup app on android and sideload it and restore it then.
