You can't, the crop will come up automatically IF the picture is the wrong size, and unless you are resizing them for your screen ahead of time, OR you are downloading premade wallpapers this will always be the case. When you select a photo of the correct size the crop command will NOT come up, but you can still select it if you choose. But generally picture you have taken with your device will always need to be cropped to fit.

Open the picture which you want to set as wallpaper, then tap to hide the toolbar, take a screen shot and set the screen shot as your wallpaper

No more pressing, just swipe

How do u take this off im tired of setting a picture as wallpaper and it crops

BlackBerry z10 10.3.3.245
If you save images that are the same size as your device's screen resolution, no cropping will be necessary.

Your Z10 has a screen res of 768x1280, which is unique for BB10 devices. (For example, Z30 and Leap are 720x1280, which is a slightly more common screen res than Z10's 768x1280.)

If you try to use an image that's different than 768x1280, it has to crop or stretch it for it to fit without a black bar anywhere.

My solution for wallpaper cropping fix is that, you dont need to restart your device but instead close "Picture Editor" everytime you set wallpaper.
