    so here is the case

i reset my z10 and all good, blackberry protect was on

so i enter my blackberry account as usual and my blackberry ID is right but the password is wrong, i press the forget password
and am greeted with no recovery question was set, even though i set it.

i try to login through my laptop and the same case is there too! no recovery question was on!

how can i fix this please.. am trying to sell my phone

You've forgotten your BBID. There is no recovery. Unless you can remember it, you have a brick.

BBID can't be corrupted or just disappear.

Nothing. That's the point of anti-theft. It's bullet proof.

Its not, reload the os, it will go off, happened to my device, anti-theft was off by the time the device came back on.

.. i don't think that reloading OS will do any help from getting back the data linked with a particular BBID... be it backed up with link too....

Absolutely not. Autoloader, Link reload, or security wipe cannot bypass anti-theft under any circumstance.

It doesn't matter which OS you try. It won't work. Any OS prior to 10.3.2 will not load (permanently blacklisted on your device), and any 10.3.2 will just ask you for your BBID again on boot before allowing you to set up your phone.

All you can do is send your device to BlackBerry for "repair" along with a proof of purchase.

Did you forget your BBID, or the password associated with your BBID (not to be confused with your device password)?

NO! Your device cannot be reactivated until you remember your ORIGINAL BBID!

Although you can't delete it if you don't remember it, right?

OK, so you DO remember your BBID? You just don't remember your BBID password?

Is the email associated with your BBID still valid?
