    OK, to put things simply I recorded a vine with whine on my z10. A few moments later I record another vine with my ipad. Same room, same lighting.

    Now my ipad has a 1.3mp front facing camera and my z10 a 2mp front facing camera but if you check these two vines, the z10 is clearly worse in quality.

    Why? Is it anything Knobtviker is doing wrong or is it an OS problem?

    because i think this is an OS problem and not a Whine problem. Realistically how can a third party app like whine decrease quality? Is it even possible? The quality on my z10 front facing camera is as bad as my old curve 9300 3g camera

    honestly not a good test, camera angles were different. i get better quality than the ipad vine in my room

    Compare the quality of images when *not* processed by Whine. If the same difference is not present it must be something in the app software. Otherwise you need to Whine about the quality of the optics.
