I would say it is comparable to my S3. I would get about 4 - 4.5 hrs screen time on a charge on my S3. Hard to be exact since i can't track the screen time on the Z10. However, overall in would say it is around that.

Doesn't quite match up to the 9900, but then I don't expect it to.
It's about on par if not a little better than my S2.

I find the battery in Z10 awful. but then again, I can only compare to previous Bold devices as the last time I had a different phone to Blackberry was back in 2009 (HTC Hero) which means back in the days when a touchscreen phones WERE lasting 2 days on one charge.
I am so getting the battery bundle kit to make it through a full day (7am to 10pm). The battery lasts about 7 hours in my case.

About 18 hours takes me to 20 percent. My pearl used to go for about 4 days, but ended up around 40 hours at the end of its life

I have to ask how little you use your phone. I use mine primarily for email and occasionally craigslist and I barely get 4 hours on it. Perhaps there's an issue with how it syncs live accounts? I use a lumia 920 typically and have been tryying to use the Z10 more but the battery ust can't get there. Is there a means of calibrating it because I tested the output and it's fine.

it has been fairly good, tough to become a good fairy it needs a good reason to run, such as to sound my multiple alarms ))

My battery lasts about 10-15 hours depending on usage. Today I'm actually at 22 hours. Screen brightness is 20% and LTE is turned off for 4G.

One of the big munchers of battery is leaving active panes open. As cool as they are running in their minimised for, they still use battery and data. Same as leaving wifi and blue tooth on etc.
If you are only getting 4 hours, there is something wrong or its working flat out, even then that's a terrible time.

I'm can manage most of the daytime without needing a charge, and that's blogging, surfing, forum whoring, streaming making calls and BBM non stop lol.

It's not a great battery but by modern standards its not too shabby.

Biggest battery killer I have found on this and other devices is poor signal. With them phone constantly searching for network it will destroy a battery in no time.

Do you think Wifi spends more than 3g? From your experience.

Never really experimented to be honest, but there has always been a noticeable different between having wifi on and off on previous blackberry handsets for me.

Main issue with leaving wifi on is when you are out and about and it constantly finds and tries to latch onto hot spots etc.

lol at the people saying this phone has worse battery life than Nexus 4. Nexus 4 has the crappiest battery life out of any recently released phone. On a good day, my N4 lasts 50% less than my Z10. Normally, it lasts even less than that. There are people comparing the Z10's battery life to iPhone 5, and S3. There's no way a Nexus 4 lasts as long as those phones. Either you guys are trolling (funny how I said Z10 lasts 50-100% more, and a few posts later, someone reversed it saying 50-100% less), you can't count time, you have poor reception, or you leave a ton of apps running. Even from the statistics above, it is obvious that the "normal" time is 10+ hours. 4-6 hours? Are you only counting on screen time? Because if that's the case, the Nexus 4 gets less than 4 hours...

I have both devices and the main reason I got the z10 is the bad battery life of the Nexus. I have tried both and as amazing as it sounds the Nexus 4 has good battery life compared to the z10.i am not comparing screen time I am comparing usage time.

A little less than my 9900, although the 9900 had a year's worth of updates (on 7.1.0.861 when I got my Z10). The gap, even with LTE and the bigger screen should be fixed with future updates.
