I was hoping for a native kobo app but the android port isn't bad.

I was really wanting to be able to import third party epubs but that didn't seem to work. I did figure it out though: just copy the epub file to the kobo folder in device/misc/andriod/kobo
Then select import from the kobo menu and it should find the epub file.

I am not sure yet if it will uplod it to your online kobo library. But at anyrate, this should be helpful.

Ok, I did some more testing
It has to be in the andriod folder.

It seems that since it is an andriod app, it views that andriod app as the root of the virtual drive for andriod.

I was only able ti import non DRM epubs though.

Download book reader. It's really good and you can add epub or mobi. I have it on my playbook and Z10. Love it.

Gotta say Kobo has more features though.

Nonsense good man. I store epubs on the microSD card in a folder named "books", and imported them into Kobo which is available as a native BlackBerry OS 10 application. Naturally the epubs must be DRM-free.

Kobo for BlackBerry 10 is an Android port. Back when the thread was created, files had to be in that folder. Later updates to the Android runtime allowed the app to see the whole SD card.
