Isn't there an app that can outline to me all the high data app spenders or users on my app list, u just lost 700 mega in 2 days, i need to find out what's draining my data to cut it loose.

I don't know of an app that breaks data usage down per app, what apps do you have installed?

New apps r, igrann, snap2chat, wechat, screen recorder, non of which I bearly use, and I have about 8 Bbm channels, i saw someone complain that Bbm channels use a lot of data, is this so, could the Bbm channels be the reason I lost all my data?

If those are all native apps and you keep them closed, it might have to be BBM Channels.

Have you heard of BlackBerry Device Monitor? Sys.sysmon.bar is available in 10.2.1.1925 and can be side loaded on top of a 10.2.0.xxxx OS.


Shows past 2 days data usage per installed app.

Only sideload this if you are on OS 10.2.0.1xxx or greater..
type "myver" without the quotations and your OS version will be shown in the space bar..
Unzip and sideload the bar file. You can access device monitor in settings->app manager->device monitor.

When I do the myver thing I get Z10STL100-1/10.2.0.1791 , but I'm on official 10.2.0.424 so I don't get how I'm suddenly on 1791, care to explain somebody please

One is software release (.424) the other os version.

Wow guys I just sideloaded it and it works like a charm, the best news is that the reason I lost all my 700 mg data was that I downloaded the real football game when I had an open wifi but it used up my data instead, so now I'm so happy cos I got the game ND I'm actually playing it as we speak, anyway I love the device monitor. Thanks yall

In the BBWorld app, there's a setting to limit or change downloading so it does NOT use data but only wifi.

Yes, downloading the maps for Mireo was 6 gigs of data. And the free movies BB gave away in their Christmas giveaway was another 6!!
