I see my ram too much occupied and all the time I see it quite heavy.

Also the battery life is quite poor.

Just reboot it, BB10 does that; it's not very good at memory management

And also installing android apps is slow.

Tried rebooting that but still it is quite high.

It's probably an Android app that's using up the memory. Can you recall what you had installed just before the system started slowing down installation of Android apps?

What if anything can be gleaned looking through the the device monitor?

The only other way is to remove them one by one or a system backup and fresh OS install. I had one Android app that was giving me troubles with my notification and media volume. Because of that, I tend to install apps one at a time and test drive them for a few days to make sure they aren't causing issues with my installation before moving on to the next.

    Nothing new that I installed.

Probably needs a fresh install and no restore.

I have been doing restore Everytime with new os from a long time.

You should take a look a that app listing below the ram usage . Think about changing app permission to run in background or close whatever you don't use and see the difference ! ..

Of course I had the same problem and I wrote on forum and got laughed at for saying that BlackBerry consumes power overnight on apps that I didn't open and they are open according to the monitor.

They said I have to use a magical device like charger. Bull***

All you have to do man is go to settings > application manager > device monitor > go to ram memory and see an app that you closed but it's still on the list, then hold your finger on it so that the menu slides up from the right and chose 'close' you're welcome!

it has to do with the apps. apps developed or created using WebWorks are known for developing memory issues. you need to review the installed applications.

Nope. Not the end users job to monitor what apps suck d!ck and eat memory. The developers should update their apps (not likely on BlackBerry 10 anymore)

Just reboot the phone once a week and it will be all good.
