Hey guys, I have noticed that I have a high CPU load when my Z10 is being charged. Is that normal? The System goes to 50-60% and PIM is 20-30%, plus all the other things take it up to 100%.





If you were to overlay the graphs you can see that as the charge is in process the CPU load is high.

I guess if the device needs to do a bunch of work then it is wise to do it while being charged. But what is it doing?

Well it makes sense to me. When I charge my battery temp rises on my phone and it gets hot. I would imagine that charging uses up a lot of the processing power.

Hmmm. Mine is fully charged at the moment so my values are not shifting much. How bright do you keep the display? What OS is installed and which device, 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Have you tried a restart

Try a restart:

Press and HOLD both Vol Up/Down buttons. Keep holding while the screen goes fully black (ignore the screenshot), keep holding through the Black/White logo and when the Colored Logo shows up, release those buttons.

If you have the STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the LOGO as above

I've got the Z10STL100-3/10.2.1.2141 .
Brightness is usually about 65%

I have the same problem!! When the phone is in charge, system goes to 40~60%, pim services goes to 20~30% and BlackBerry Travel goes to 7~10%. There is a solution?
