So my z10 dropped out of my pocket and there goes the screen. The LCD works find, can see all my missed mssgs, bbm, and phone call counts , just cant open the phone too do anything. The warranty company offered me a cheque for 650 so im out. IP5 it is for now. Anyone have an idea on how I can use the backup file info and get it somehow onto my IP5?

Back up ask carrier nicely to allow you to restore to a new phone copy your information needed and restore carriers phone to factory bingo bang done

Don't ask a store; ask a friend. A store is not going to put your personal information on someone else's phone, and leave themselves open for a lawsuit.

I wonder if I can just restore one of my os7 phones and just google sync it that way... Its weird, I just check my contacts and there is a bunch in there on the IP5, just not recent ones...

If you had BlackBerry Protect on, you could do a remote backup and restore to another BB10 device...
