Please can anyone help. My partner and I both have STL100-2 model Z10's. Both running software release 10.2.0.429. My partner's phone will only give 4 hours off a full charge with just being on standby. My phone on the other hand lasts all day.

I checked the App Manager and noticed that the CPU usage by the System was between 60-95% comparing this reading with my phone which was reading below 10%.
No other apps running in the background.

I reloaded the software and removed any apps that were not part of the original configuration when she first got the phone and checked the Device Monitor again. This time the reading is fluctuating 25-50% with insignificant improvement to standby time. I still think this is too high.

As it stands now the phone is only useful if my partner can easily plug it in to recharge easily so in effect not very mobile.

Can anyone help me out with this issue and tell me what could causing such a drain on power. As I said earlier I'm not experiencing the same problems with my phone.

I had this problem happening to me as well. I had to reload the software and NOT restore. I had to load everything from scratch to eliminate the problem.

It worked and I get a full day on a charge.
Did you restore??

Yes I did as my partner needed all her contacts for her work she's got quite a few of them.

I've been chasing battery gremlins through my device for the past month or two.

I downloaded Battery Guru from BlackBerry World and side loaded CatLog android app to get an idea of what my device was doing.

If your device is pulling more than .07watts in standby, something is off.

It's almost impossible to say what is causing your device issues, or even if your device is having issues. I feel as though I'm a fairly heavy user, and I struggle to get more than 6 hrs consistently.
