    Need help with reading Z10 backups off my PC. I no longer have my Z10.
    Can anyone help? Tried 3rd party programs but they don't work for OS 10. All I have now is a 9930...and backups won't restore to it.

    I think you may have problems. I believe that the data in the backup files is encrypted. I don't think you can retrieve any of the files.

    The xxxx.bbb files are ZIP format. I guess you can try opening them and seeing if you can find say, mp3 or jpg files. The apps are certainly encrypted.

    I'm not sure if your data is worth investing in a used z10 or maybe find a very close friend who is willing to restore YOUR data to their phone.
