Hey folks so I ever so conveniently dropped my phone and shattered the top right portion of my screen. Everything works fine accept when I have to push a button on the top right. Most apps let's me tilt the phone sideways so I can then push the button that goes to the bottom right when tilted.

But..... I always use my Hotspot and this button to activate it "next" is on the top right and the screen in the settings doesn't tilt only remains in portrait position always!

Any tips please asides from the inevitable of getting a new glass or replacing the phone altogether which I indent to do sooner rather than later!

    Cheers folks!

If your hotspot is already configured and you just want to switch it on or off, then try going to settings app, quick settings, and check mobile hotspot (if it isn't already checked). Then swipe down from the top of the screen to open quick settings and just tap on the hotspot symbol (not the label).

It was already configured but went away and changed Sim cards. Now once back it shows that I have to configure it again. So swiping down from the settings isn't an option for me unfortunately.

Well try setting your display font to maximum. That makes the next button ever so slightly wider. Try tapping slightly to the left of the button too.
    Otherwise I'm out of suggestions.

New display is inexpensive, and only an hour or two to replace.

With the correct tool, It can be done in less than 10 minutes from start to finish. I did it a couple weeks ago.
