OK I've tried using the search option on here and could not find anything to help me could have just been the keys words I was using but regardless. Here is my issue my friend's BlackBerry z10 is killing his battery rapidly. Done some system reboots and to no avail still rapid discharge. I took a screen shot of the device manager and for some reason his system seems to show that it's way over used. Any thoughts on why this is???? Should I just do a factory restore?

That's kind of funny. I'm having issues with battery life and system use, as well.

There's something wrong here.. typical CPU usage at idle should range between 6 and 10% spiking to the mid 30's.. 194% is mathematically impossible..

Yes I know it is impossible yet the screen shot was proof it's sitting anywhere between 70 -110 atm

What OS? Did he install any new software? That's just sitting idle and not running any apps?

Latest official software installed through BlackBerry Link and yes that's just sitting there idle

I guess it might be time to reload the OS which can be done via BB Link software. Or find the appropriate Autoloader in the OS forum and run that. But, any NEW apps either from BB world or Android from any source?

No new apps were installed all push services are disabled atm and running on 3 g network I am gonna wait a day and see if it settles down and goes back to normal. If not I will relied Os
