A friend of mine wants to hand down his Z10 to his nephew.
He reset the phone, but now he's stuck in the initial setup.
He can't get past the anti-theft protection setup.

We've tried multiple times to reset the password but we can't get it to work.
is there a way to fully reset the device? We don't care about the information, we just don't want a working device to remain useless.

    thanks,

If it was that easy then it'd be a really poor anti-theft mechanism.

Try to get in with the old BBID, then disable Protect before wiping again.
