You probably have the problem I had. After hours and hours with BlackBerry online, I found if I disabled my firewall on my anti virus program, BlackBerry Link finally works. So now I disable the firewall, do my synch and backup, enable the firewall and I am good to go. Good luck!

Do you have a password on the phone? In my experience Link works better if the phone is password protected. Don't ask me why.

Now I see that you have both Link and Device Manager installed. Maybe there is some kind of conflict between the two? I would uninstall Device Manager, reboot and try again.

Thanks.but I did not install BlackBerry device manager separately. I just installed BlackBerry link and the device manager is a part of it and I don't see in list of programs BlackBerry device manager.i can only see BlackBerry link.

Ok. In the "Options" tab of the Device Manager program, "Mount tablet volumes on connect" is checked?

Mounting using "USB Mass Storage" works? (Settings > Storage and Access > USB Mass Storage > On)

You should be able to see the SD Card contents in Windows Explorer.

You have to set USB Mass Storage to "Off" in order to let Link to mount the drive.

I finally suggest you upgrade via autoloader to 10.3.
Use link to backup if possible, otherwise try sachesi.
    After the autoloader procedure, restore.
I hope this will solve your problem.

If you decide to follow my advice, please make sure you know what you are doing. Otherwise do NOT do it.
