I have been at two workplaces where I am made fun of for having a BlackBerry by iPhone users, not Android users. And these Apple users are not even educated enough on the limitations of their phones (until they try to pair with our BlackBerry and Android phones) or the specs on the BB 10. Honestly, they r not worth my time of the day either. I enjoy sharing with my Android counterparts. Anyone encountered this before? I throw in hdmi, QNX, removeable battery, expandable memory, flash player and get a blank stare. And of course the "we have more apps" answer or the iCloud. Sigh. I will just pray for more patience.

Don't worry about them. They all think it's about having what's hot right now, but actually it's all about finding the right phone/OS that suits your need.
In general, most iPhone users I know, are too enclosed into the ecosystem to see that there is better beyond iOS (In my opinion).
BBOS works for me atm, but I will be going BB10 for sure in a couple of weeks.

Ha. These types of stories are so weird to hear, because I can't imagine anyone seriously making fun of someone for the type of phone they use.

Pretty much all my coworkers and friends know that I love BlackBerrys and would never buy another type of phone. You should make it seem like they're the weird ones for even caring so much about what phone YOU use.

I will never lower myself to iOS pone wise, my Z10 has proved time and time again that its superior than its counterparts. I'm not an app fan, you do he Sam etching on the net as an app, with less data usage. The Z10 is functional. It handles pretty much anything that you throw at it an then asks for more with a smile.

They come onto the BlackBerry help pages giving it large. What they don't seem to appreciate is the reason there are so many different phones and different makes is that people have varying tastes....what works for one doesn't work for another. Sad that they can't grasp this and leave everyone to their own choice

In terms of how my Z10 handles its work load, yes. I've watched people try negotiate the system they've been given to work with. Albeit windows, android or iOS and its quite funny watching the , home, next, load, exit, home, open, home, back, reload, system commands. Btw, what phone do you have?

The point being that with one hand you can control your territory on your BB10 phone. Fact.

If the OP's story is factual, and he's throwing in 'QNX, HDMI, flashplayer' he's clearly participating in a 'my phone is better than yours' debate with others. So what's the issue?
