I want to switch from a z10 to a z30 but I'm not really sure whether it's a worthy upgrade. Any help regarding this?

Upgraded from a z10 to a z30 last month, totally worth it, the battery is excellent, having a radio and OTG again is great, the screen is also very good + OLED so it has the dark theme.

And I'm really noticing the CPU and GPU upgrades.

Yes. Upgraded two weeks ago, and I have no regrets. Everything is an improvement other than the sharpness of the display.

I'm thinking of getting a z30 for the only reason of poor poor battery life. Can't stand this anymore honestly! How is one hand typing on the bigger z30?

Would have loved a z10 Newer version but don't see or hear anything coming no time soon. So I'm guessing at least a year which I can't say that long on my z10. Heard about a slider but I don't need a physical keyboard.

    Cheers

That's one of the biggest reasons I really wanted to upgrade.
And about one-hand typing, it varies. I'm a really small person so I can't exactly do it as good as I did on my 10.
    Very do-able, though.

You get used to it, my first few days I found myself struggling to hold the full thing, but it's just like the z10 when you're used to it

The battery life is one of the reasons, probably the main one that makes me want to upgrade

Well, when I first got mine, I did 23 hours with still 52% battery, on my usual bit of internet ect

I have mine on now, 69%, estimated 2 days and one hour at current usage left.

    It's bloody great

I always read about people's Z30s lasting days when mine seems to have to charge by around 13-15 hours.

Depends what you do with it really, AMOLED screens do use a lot of power with bright colours.
And your battery could be on its way, checking the Battery health on Escreen will give you an idea

Good health probably shows up to anything above 60-70, you must really be hammering it

People say; USB OTG is a big advantage. Twice the processor cores is excellent. The device is only very slightly biggerthan the Z10 so (unless you have small hands) one handed operation is just like the Z10. The speakers are a big upgrade. The battery is awesome. and other stuff :-)

Go for it, it's the best all touch until we get the slider (which is months away).
(Yes the slider counts as an all touch, in my opinion anyway).

i switched to the z30, and it is a far superior device. Now have passport. But the z30 one of the best devices yet.

Everything in a Z30 is a great improvement!
I did the switch almost a year ago. It was well worth it.

Battery, speed, size of screen, etc... all Much better.
IMO, the only draw back are the camera and the screen quality - but you can't win everything.... or I could go for broke and get a Passport (no $$$)

Go for it! you'll love it - I did!!!!!!

I am so satisfied that it's the device that I used for the longest time since I have a Smartphone.

It's really better than Z10, you'll notice from day one...

I switched from one Z10 to three Z30 and loving it. With BB10.3.2 I love even more. The camera work better than before. The unfortunate for me with Z30, I don't get LTE in San Jose California through AT&T. I'm thinking about replace one of my 3 Z30 with either Leap or Passport since those phones have LTE in my area. My temptation right now more toward Passport but it is too much money for me and I don't want two years contract with AT&T since AT&T never want to upgrade software. Leap is more affordable for me since it costs only $275 in us dollar but I have not made up my mind yet.

I've had the Z30 for about a year now, and the only thing I still miss about the Z10 is that I can't stand the Z30 on it's edge like I could with the Z10 because of the rounded back on the Z30.

I can go almost 2 days without charging most times. The exception to that is when I'm in marginal signal coverage areas, then I typically only get about 14 hours or so. The facility I work in has 4G LTE repeaters for my carrier, so I typically lose less than 15% battery during an average work day. I've been off the charger 6 hours already today and have 77% remaining, and I've been browsing all morning while watching a machine do its job
