First time blackberry owner!
I was a bit on the fence on this one because of the new Android phones coming out, like the s4 and HTC one, but after really researching a bit more I was sold! The innovation, the style, the screen size is perfect I love the gesture based OS, it's a joy to use. Android is just releasing the same old stuff on a bigger screen and faster processor,that's all it is, I have the nexus 7 so getting another android phone with a big screen seemed pretty pointless to me. I won't lie I wanted the s4 and HTC one, but I realized I would get the exact same content and OS on my nexus 7 anyways and android is pretty boring to be honest. A five inch screen is too big its not convenient,4.2 inches of real estate is perfect! Even though it's not 1900x1000,its still looks damn good. The 1.5 snapdragon is pretty fast, I don't see why a phone needs 1.9 ghz(s4) I mean am I gonna have two games running in the backround while watching a movie while listening to music? Jeez lol, and who needs a million apps full of imitation games and useless apps, the z10 could use more apps and in time it will happen, but I'm pretty conformed with what they have now. The back cover comes off which is vital! How can you not have a removable back cover!lol. The Texting is amazing, apple or android definitely couldn't match this.I haven't ran into any issues yet, of course through use they might become more evident I also have yet to see how the battery issue turns out in planning on getting the battery back charger anyways so I don't see an issue there! I don't miss the home button at all, its for noobs seeing all my emails texts etc is only a swipe away,android can't do that!I honestly think blackberry did a very good job with the z10, people need to stop reading all these based reviews and try one themselves. I see some people have a lot of issues with their z10 because some of them do come very bugged or defective, which is a problem but you can always exchange. It just feels completely fresh and new. People also need to understand it's a completely new OS coded from the ground up, I mean do you want a copy and paste again? This isn't android! It has its bugs and things missing but with time it can only get better! Consider me converted!

I've turned off most of the notifications on my Nexus, especially for stuff like Facebook and emails etc. I prefer the device that I take everywhere to be the central hub, especially as it has a hub. I use the Nexus for Tapatalk and browsing and emulators.
