Anyone know if you can download Google maps to z10?.....essential for my job, found the old bb maps lacking and not sure about tomorrow tom.

You might want to edit your subject....calling it 'Z10' in a 'Z10' forum isn't going to give anyone much clue as to what you're asking

You can sideload it, it's been confirmed to work.

Thought it was a pretty straight fwd question.....blackberry folk tend to be pretty sharp, I think they will figure out what I'm asking.

Google Maps is not available to download from BlackBerry World.

Sideloading involves taking a modified Android program and using a PC program to load it manually to your device. Necessary with the PlayBook because many popular apps aren't available.

Sideloading is a lot simpler than you might think....Once you do it, you will be happy with the results and possibilities ...

Yes, there is Google Maps for the Z10 and is working like it should. Look here.

You can side load official Google maps and it works fine. However Google maps navigation is not working well at all.

Thanks! I had not realized the website works so well for searching and such. Navigation is fine on the stock maps, which I'm sure will have a ton of improvements on the future, and hopefully by that time, BB10 will be popular enough for Google to release Google maps on it.
