Just delete your Google account and add again, remember to check, email, contacts and calender. Also check calender settings to be able to view google calender, in fact do this before you delete, it may already be there?

You can synch all your google calendars... You have to use the "CalDAV"...
First, add a new account then you have to click the button on the bottom (options or so) then chose CalDAV...
The difficult one is the step after, fill the form up:
The log-in/ID is your whole mail adress: example@gmail.com
    And the server is www.google.com
I must find the link somewhere, here are screenshots:

    Google calendar-img_20140810_095506.png

That is the button ^^^ I mean... in the middle, the three dottet lines... there you must specify this:

    Google calendar-img_20140810_095515.png

So after specifying it is a CalDAV account (imap/push or so), fill in this form that is the final step:

    Google calendar-img_20140810_095532.png

If you have enabled 2-step authentification, you have to require a new App-passord in your google accout>settings>security

My knowledge came from this page:
(don't be afraid of the length of the link, I got it by making an online google search and copied-pasted from browser window... after the link a screenshot of the steps and content:

    Attachment 289953

It works... I even set it up on the playbook this way!!
    Cheers.

No still doesn't work. Surely this should be a basic function. Contacts and email work fine it's just the calendar

In calendar when you swipe down from the top, select manage -
Now do you see your gmail account listed here and is it ticked (enabled) ?

Well, then I am pretty sure the initial sync has some issue... try adding the account again and give it some time because last time I added the account again it took nearly 8 hours to sync my gmail accounts!! God knows why!!

Now here's a strange one. I remember reading it in a few articles, saying I think August 8th was the cut off. And being annoyed. Now I can't find them.
