    Since the last update, I can no longer get email from my Gmail account.

    BlackBerry Support tells me this is a Google issue and can't help me.

    I find this hard to believe since Gmail was working before the last OS update.

    When I try to reinstall Gmail, I get the following error:


    Gmail and IMAP isn't working-img_00000105.png

    i had the same message when i got the phone.....havent seen it since.....i think it was fixed in an update....i've had like 5 updates on vz since i got the phone....almost every day lol

    You're pretty well confirming it's a BlackBerry issue but aside from an update, does anyone know if there is any way to fix this?

    Try deleting the Gmail account, restart phone, add account. That fixed my shared calendars for my paid account, but it may fix your issue.

    Neither option worked.

    I can't get passed the error screen when I try to add Gmail.

    I have Yahoo and my ISP email accounts working.

    Has anyone recently added Gmail to their Z10?

    I had this issue the other day. I logged into my Gmail and confirmed that imap was set up correctly. I saved the changes (I made a settings change then reverted back to the original and hit save). I logged out of Gmail on the Web browser (which I did through my Z10 and not a PC) and restarted my Z10. Everything worked after that.

    I believe the Z10 asked me again for thr password and that was that. Before doing this I looked through the account listing and all of them showed errors. After this and a reboot I was good money

    5 updates on Verizon??? I haven't gotten any.. what version are you running?

    I Googled this exact issue this morning...

    I went to GMAIL from my laptop, and turned on two factor authentication under security settings. I then added my BBZ10 as new authorized application. I generated a password for it and set that as the password for the Gmail accounts.

    Waiting to see if it sticks, but the article I read many people reported success. I will try to find the link and post it soon.

    Tried that too. It says it only works with version 10.90 or higher.

    Sadly I'm running 10.85 so I guess I wait until new a new revision is released to try again.
