Hi all

I use a z10, but i'm think of buying a second hand one for daughter, she doesn't have a blackbery sim account, but uses a micro-sim "mins internet texts " in her phone if she placed it in the z10 would all functions work?

Blackberry world , BBM etc

With BlackBerry 10 you don't need to have a bis account. Just make a blackberry ID in order to be able to download from bb world.

OP, are you asking if a micro-sim will work in a phone that doesn't normally take micro-sims, but full size sims?

Either way, it depends on the carrier. Verizon requires you change phones by either calling them or doing it on-line.

I swap sims all the time without calling them. In my last swap, took the micro sim from my iPhone 5 and put it in my Q10 with an adapter. Then into a Galaxy Note 3, then Q10 again. No need to call Verizon at all.
