    Try this: Find the app permissions in Settings and disable BBM from Games.

    I think that that's one that has a long thread from earlier this year. For some stupid reason, a professional phone, the z10, needs to inform all of your bbm contacts what games you are playing and how you are doing. I don't recall if there were a satisfactory solution to DISABLE the tie-in. Let us know.

    Only way I found was to use Chrome plug-in to install another Games BAR over it, clearing the read only flag, allowing deletion.

    Is there a way to stop the games app from attempting to connect in general? It gets annoying whenever the game I'm in minimizes and tries to connect to it

    So, can I safely open the GAMES app (or whatever is in it) and not immediately be LINKED to BBM? Is there a checkbox or option? Or is the linkage automatic with no opt out?
