I am frustrated with my battery life and asking for few advices:-

    1. How to make fb update less frequent say every 2 hours?
    2. Any 'system' setting that can turn off that eating power?
    3. Used quite frequent on BBM & whatsapp (I think those are culprits)
    4. Already install battery boost & battery monitor app as to 'shake' the battery a little bit
    5. Deleted multiple entries and trim down contact as per few people here advised

    6. Anything else that I need to incorporate?

OR, to console myself I assume this has to do with the network, let say it sucks so it eats up more battery....

I don't ask for 24 hours but my target is it lasts from 7.00am - 10pm the least. Is it achievable?

Actually if you are on BBM and Whatsapp a lot I think 9 hours is pretty good. I never can expect more than that as I am a heavy user of BBM as well.

Battery boosters apps etc do not work. Don't bother.
Change your screen brightness and turn off notifications
Have your email sync less frequently?

change the email from push to manual, FB i think you can set to never refresh - meaning it wont run on the background.. it only will refresh once you open the app.. same thing with twitter.. but i guess the biggest consumption is when you use BBM and Whatsapp a lot.. mine got a 8 - 10 hrs depending the signal strength

Its possible to make it last from 7am - 10pm. Mine lasts that long and once i even got more, 7:17am to 1:26am before i plugged in.

Here is my advice. Do a search for the other 100000 threads on battery life and do some research.

Personally I have an extra battery and I don't worry about needing a charge anymore just swap them out!

OP, I hope you are using the Leather Pocket pouch or the Flip Shell case because it has magnets that turns off the screen and thus, saving power. I can get my Z10 to a maximum of 17 hours (3G ON, Wi-Fi OFF, no gaming, minimal Facebook, moderate BBM).

Go into settings, privacy n security, diagnostics and turn off sending data to BlackBerry.

Also in settings, go into BlackBerry Link and turn that off.
