My wife's z10 is frozen at the BlackBerry screen that comes up when you first reboot your phone. I did a quick search and could not find anything on the forums. Has anyone seen this?
She said she did not load any new apps or update OS, screen was freezing during normal operation, so she rebooted via the proper restart, on the screen, not pulling battery. Seems to be stuck at this screen and we can not do anything else.
We did try pulling battery after giving it a few hours, still nothing

Figure I might try reloading OS but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this

    Thanks

It does sound like reloading the OS is in order. Good luck.

Have you tried connecting the phone to your PC with the battery out? Have read that sometimes gets things going.

Went home for lunch, tried to connect to PC and it won't even recognize the device. Called Verizon they want to send us a new device, bummer

I have the same problem. Got my z10 today, updated to 10.2.0.429 and now it's stuck on the BlackBerry Screen. It's been like this for 5mins.
I didn't put the sim card in yet. Should I remove the battery?
    Update:
    It's now stuck at 100%
And after 3 mins it finally booted and got this error "A problem with your media license database has fixed"

That final error seems to be a normal occurrence.

Do not pull the battery. You can soft brick the device. I did that once before. Best thing to do is leave the charger plugged in and wait it out. It will boot up eventually. Well, it should....

BlackBerry for life. Kick'n it with my Z10.

I waited for a bit and the issue was resolved.
    I'm loving the z10 btw.
