    New bug (for me) opening a newly received text message and bottom 3rd of screen will flicker for a couple of seconds (NB, nothing under flicker - just background color)... Then it comes right ^^

    Yes, I've seen this on 10.3.1, happens more often on long threads. It's different than Passport screen flickering, more like quick reloading the thread few times. Definitely a bug in Messaging.

    I'm on blitz 10.3.2.2204 the message flicking and calling sluggish few second too.

    That "flicker" consistently occurs on my Z10STL100-3/10.3.2.2252.

    Flickering since I upgraded my Z10STL100-2 to 10.3.1.2576, before that didn't have screen flickering issue for newly received text messages. All hopes for 10.3.2 OTA update to fix this bug!

    I installed Leaked 10.3.2.2252 for Z30 / Classic/Leap. For Z10 radio, I am using 10.3.2.2205.

    Its a major bug and happening on pp z30 z3 almost all device. Sms and screen flickering is happening on my z3 almost twice a day

    Flickering is here from 10.3.0.xxxx till latest 10.3.2.xxxx. It's lame they never managed to fix it after so much OS builds.

    Try this:

    In the Hub Menu/Settings/Text Messages/Advanced, set Send Text-only messages to MMS.

    You might want to turn off Show SMS/MMS notification, else you will get a warning each time you enter text messaging.

    Hope this works for you.
