This is something I am not too familiar about, especially when I have been marred by Apple's control. By the end of 2012 the Android camp has found a loophole to enable LTE on the Nexus 4. This means we only flash 1 file for both the baseband and OS to complete firmware updates in iOS--never separate.

The theory is all Z10 subver STL100-2 -3 -4 have the same LTE chip, except -1, which has no LTE support. As long as the phones are sim unlocked (assumption), will it mean flashing the phones with different a radio image from another carrier enable a new freq band supported by the other carrier?

Depends on the LTE radio used.

stl100-2 and 3 can be flashed with same firmware
stl100-4 is difrent (+cdma part) than 2 and 3 and crossflashing give incompatible radio image error
stl100-1 is totally difrent (playbook family +alpha A and B)

I've try to execute the autoloader from the Official BB Page only for the stl100-3 into my stl100-2, but nothing happens. I really need to change the baseband from my stl100-2 to stl100-3, I'll be very thankfully with you for your help.
