Hi, i'm probably the first to sport a Z10 here in Malta and i'm loving it, i was there when the BB revolution started and ended and now hopefully starting again

While enjoying the device i noticed a black rectangle opening under the the speaker left hand side of the camera. Underneath some light it looks like there is an LED or IR bulb ... anyone has any idea what it is ?

Maybe used for proximity or something similiar ?

Just updated to 10.0.10 and the device is 100% better than better

I think you mean below the microphone. The light is the camera flash/video camera light. Start the camera, tap the upper right corner of the screen, select the video camera in the middle of the three options. The light should come on. If it doesn't, tap the 3 vertical dots and turn the light on.

Above poster misunderstood what you meant.

The area you're referring to has proximity and ambient light sensors.

What about the sim though, is it a regular micro sim like the one used for iphone? and what about the 4G. that isnt in malta yet right...??

are you still happy with this phone. Please let me know Im really interested in getting it
