Just an FYI: tried this on a Z10 from Telus and now Im stuck with a screen that says Incompatible Radio Image Loaded on Device and cant reload so I dont think this works for it (im)patiently awaiting the official OS .exe"

Yep beware same error. on Rogers unit.
Did you use the link that was posted on the original post or the new one that was posted for the LTE models?

My guess is uninstall the app and then connect your device to BB Link. Worth a try.

OK.... because sharing is caring, I thought all of you out there may want to have this. Someone sent this to me and I thought about all of you in the community.... (now I need help too... please tell me why pics I post in BBM are NOT showing up in my HUB. All group messages are turned on, etc).

Newer Z10 were shipped with 10.0.10.261.

There is currently no official download link, only available via OTA.

I have a link for the leak version of 261 if you want to try. It has been tested on Z10, but remember DWYOR & don't forget to backup your data.

    Link: https://mega.co.nz/#!p8tkkIpJ!WB2EfE...P8quFyM0ziXeFQ

Download, Unzip. Read this info on how to load the OS to your Z10:
    1. Turn off your BlackBerry.
    2. Run the file Autoload.10.0.10.261.0x04002607.exe.
    3. When prompt shows Connecting to Bootrom, connect your Z10 to your computer and turn it on.
    4. If you have a password set on your device, type your password when prompted.
    5. After your device restarts, complete the set up wizard.
I've asked a mod to fix your link before too many people brick their Zeds lol.

I'm going to try again and skip the 3mb upload to see if it was that that's making the version go down. During the update, the command window does say 10.0.10.261 DEV for the version.

Yeah for some reason a lot of the OSes have been reporting a different internal version number than is shown by the installer. Wish BlackBerry would standardize it.

The 348 is the latest official OS. I think BB is recognizing that it isn't the most recent, even though the build is higher. Although friends closely linked to BB tell me that the 10.0.9.348 is actually a newer build date wise

My Fido says z10STL100-3/10.0.10.261 after the update. I never had an option for a 3 MB update.

I assume that I can do a Restore to get all my apps and settings back?

To everyone: These are pre-release builds. They do not contain fixes for most problems that are known issues on the OS that release units have. Additionally, problems may occur going from these build to official builds. Please do not load this on your device if you're not prepared to perform Security Wipes and OS reloads should things go wrong.

You will incur hangs and malfunctions as is normal with software where that has not been fully QC'd. Additionally, as with any alpha and beta software, it is not advisable to use these builds on "production" units (i.e. devices you depend on for life or work). Do not depend on devices with these builds to not lose critical data.

Finally, these files are not "brand-new." If you look at datecodes, you'll find that they're quite old (in tech terms). Most of the "known issue" tickets were filed or developed *after* the build dates.

    .
How do you know this? The build date was recent and it said it was a Release OS.
